The steel wheels were refinished in red in 2024, and they wear chrome LaSalle-branded hubcaps and 7.00–16 Firestone wide whitewall bias-ply tires. The Series 50 rode on a 124″ wheelbase and features a coil-sprung independent front suspension along with a live rear axle and leaf springs that were disassembled, sandblasted, and repainted during the refurbishment. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel hydraulic drums that were overhauled during the project and serviced in preparation for the sale.
