Silver powder-coated 13″ steel wheels with bright covers were mounted with 175/70 Laufenn G Fit A/S tires in 2023. Bilstein shocks have been added at each corner, and the car came factory-equipped with front and rear anti-roll bars as well as power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The suspension was overhauled as part of the refurbishment, the handbrake pivot and rear sway bar links were replaced in May 2023. Work in July 2024 involved flushing the brake fluid and replacing the rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes.
