Black-painted steel wheels wear chrome covers and are mounted with 7.00-15 Firestone Deluxe Champion bias-ply wide whitewall tires. A full-size spare wheel and tire are stowed in the trunk. The Series 62 rides on a 126″ wheelbase and features a coil-sprung independent front suspension as well as a live rear axle with leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by hydraulically assisted drums at all four corners.
