Body-color wheels wear chrome hubcaps, and they are mounted with Columbia Deluxe bias-ply whitewall tires. A spare wheel is stowed beneath the trunk floor. The 60 Special rode on a 127″ wheelbase and featured an X-frame chassis with a coil-sprung independent front suspension and rear semi-elliptical leaf springs. The car retains hydraulically assisted drums at all four corners.
