Steel wheels wear single-piece chrome covers with body-color centers and are mounted with mixed-brand tires, while a full-size spare is included in the sale. A pneumatic self-leveling suspension system with driver-adjustable shock absorbers was standard on the 600. The model also featured four-wheel disc brakes actuated by a dual-circuit hydraulic system assisted by pressurized air, with twin calipers acting on each front rotor.
