Steel 15″ wheels wear full covers with black-finished centers and are mounted with wide-whitewall tires, while a full-size spare is stored in the trunk compartment. The Adenauer models were equipped with a fully independent suspension featuring a rear load-leveling adjustment that could be operated via a dashboard-mounted switch.
