The black-painted steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with older 7.50–16 Hercules Express bias-ply whitewall tires. Matching spare wheels are mounted in the front fenders in body-color covers. An independent front suspension and hydraulic drum brakes at all four corners were standard features for Fifteenth Series models.
