This AA’s 131”-wheelbase chassis is said to have been shortened and stiffened during the period build, which also saw the removal of its original four-door sedan coachwork. The car’s current boattail body is said to have been fabricated during the 1980s and features cycle fenders, body-color drum-style headlights, a Wilmot Calormeter, leather hood retention straps with zig-zag springs, dual Brooklands-style windscreens, a driver-side mirror, a side-mounted storage box, a Stutz-logo step plate, an external fuel-filler cap, and four-into-one exhaust headers leading to dual exit pipes. The body is finished in ivory, and a dented area at the end of the tail can be viewed in the photo gallery below.
