This is a later E36, and that means it received the upgraded 3.2-liter motor. This is original engine to the car, and the engine bay looks almost brand new, so you can understand why this is such a great collectable. But don't stick this one into a museum just yet. This generation was known for being one of the most engaging driver cars. You take full control of the livery motor with the five-speed manual transmission, and it loves to sing all the way past 7,000 RPM. BMW is one of the best companies at engineering a chassis, and so the fully independent suspension of the M3 has been a mainstay at the top of the enthusiast magazine's wish lists. Add this to four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Michelin Pilot Sport tires, and now you know why an M3 will always get respect on the road.
