1983 Jeep CJ7 AMC's big 360 cubic-inch V8, five-speed manual transmission. It even features a bored .030 over kit. The V8 inhales deeply with an Edelbrock 600 CFM four-barrel carburetor w/electric choke, and it exhales with authority as headers feed the dual exhaust. 4x4 with a two-speed transfer case, a lifted suspension, and Dick Cepek tires. Plus, the suspension bushings, leaf springs, shocks, and steering stabilizer all deliver a confident feeling. And the power steering and front disc brakes are welcomed feature on the road or off the pavement. The front buckets are exceptionally comfortable with good bolstering, wide headrests, and a cup holder center consoles in-between. The rear also gets cup holders, and there are lockable storage consoles on each side. The dash looks nice as it combines the exterior purple, interior gray, and plenty of polish.
