1971 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, the 1971 Corvette was virtually unchanged from 1970 due to previous year labor disputes. The 1971 was however the last model that provided the fiber optics light monitoring system as well as a lowered compression ratio from 10.25 to 1 to 8.5 to 1 making it the first Corvette to run properly on government mandated unleaded gasoline. This also lessened wear and tear on the engine plus added years of engine life to the Corvette with only a minimal drop in horsepower. Many feel that it helped performance with smoother running and improved drivability.This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette has just had a complete cosmetic restoration in the original color of Classic White with the correct color blue interior. The interior has been upgraded with leather seating which looks fantastic.
