One of 661 Made. This car left the Pontiac Michigan production plant as one of the 661 GTO convertibles produced for the 1971 model year. The car is now painted a GM color called Russet Orange, which is very similar to the Canyon Copper color offered on the 71 GTOs. During the 2 year long after work and on weekends restoration, every inch of the car was pored over to ensure that the car was dialed in, and the finished product would be impressive. The interior finish is excellent, which is to be expected with very few miles put on the car since the comprehensive restoration. The spotless interior features a console, wood grain and turned aluminum trim, bucket seats, and switches and knobs that are all in very good condition. Under the hood is a 455ci V8 that is not original to the car, and there is an interesting story behind that. Our client purchased the car and told the seller that he would be back to pick it up the following afternoon.
