Superformance MKIII SP03048 is a Indigo Blue MKIII 427S/C with painted Viper Steel Grey LeMans twin stripes. Finished with all chrome trim on headlights, roadster bumpers, turn signals, roll bar, and even the brass Windscreen frame. On the inside SP03048 has period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas Ammeter Gauge in the period correct dash layout. The doors are secure by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe for increased strength and support. Dashes are wrapped in leather as are the steel framed seats which offer period correct webbing for comfort and aesthetics. All Superformance MKIII's feature a high performance aluminum radiator with twin electric fans that are thermostatically controlled. Also, this MKIII has a period correct oil cooler with shroud and fittings. All Superformance MKIII's come standard with aluminum Limited Slip Differentials and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes. SP03048 is completed with a Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 and mated to a Tremec TKO 5 speed manual transmission. This MKIII has been built with custom rear exhaust. It can easily be changed back to the original side pipe 427 S/C configuration.
