This 1960 model is powered by a 2.0 liter OHV inline four cylinder borrowed from the Triumph TR4, producing 100 horsepower. Considering the curb weight isn't even 2000 lbs this is a very fun car to drive and very quick for its day. Upfront Morgan's unique and exotic "sliding pillar" front suspension and powerful disc brakes made the Plus 4 a competent track car. Mechanically this Morgan is in excellent condition. It starts up easy and idles smooth. The gear box engages well and the clutch takes up nicely. Acceleration, steering and braking are spot on. A full compliment of instrumentation keeps the driver informed. This Morgan is blessed with a very nice paint job, shiny brightwork, clear glass and a plush leather interior. The wire wheels are beautiful and free of any major discoloration or corrosion. The Dunlap tires are only a few years old.
