1936 Ford 5 Window Coupe. Washington Blue paint in nice condition bathes the exterior panels. Bumpers with their inverted eyebrow center dip, headlight bezels, handles and mirrors are all excellently restored with no dimpling or rusting. From its vertical ribbed "shield" style grille complete with blue oval and V8 hood adornment. A shout out to the curved back where a mother in law seat (rumble seat for the politically correct) is hidden but opens with the twist of a handle. This seat is covered with faux leather vinyl in tan. Nice running boards with excellent rubber connect the curvaceous fenders. A spare tire covered in steel and chrome rests above the rear bumper and hangs from the rear of this car. Nicely contrasting black and yellow painted steel wheels are topped with dog dish V8 engraved chromed center caps. These wheels are wrapped with correct and proper wide whites. Clean tan textured broadcloth covers the door panels, and tufted bench. A dark brown sprayed dash houses original Ford gauges and is trimmed in chrome in the art deco style. A single aftermarket gauge hangs below the dash, and fronting it is a restored banjo style steering wheel which is to die for...it's just beautiful. Black rubber covers the floors and mohair cloth is on the ceiling. A V8 with 239 Cubes in flathead form is buttoned up under the side hinged hood. A single 2-barrel carburetor tops this mill, and a 3-speed manual transmission and 3.78 gears make up the drivetrain.
