The 1956 Bel Air was restyled with a face lift with a full width grill and a lot more chrome. Gm called it the HOT ROD in their advertising due to more horsepower. It is powered by what appears to be a period correct 265 small block V 8 with 2 four barrel carburetors a Bat Wing air cleaner. and a 3 speed column shift manual transmission.
