The body is believed to have been repainted in the 1960s or ’70s, and closeups of the exterior are provided in the photo gallery below. Design features incorporated for compliance with Le Mans requirements include fenders, a passenger-side door, lighting, and hood straps. Details include a Crosley crest on the hood and Dreyer badge on the cowl, as well as roundels replicating the car’s Le Mans entry number. Marchal headlights were reportedly added at Circuit de la Sarthe after it was decided during testing that the car needed more powerful lighting. The hood has since been modified to accommodate a single Weber carburetor.
